LanoCote works on these five basic principals: displaces water, absorbs corrosion, forms moisture barrier, penetrates and has high lubricity. LanoCote prevents dissimilar metal galvanization. LanoCote also combats galvanization where dissimilar metals are fastened together, such as stainless steel fittings on alloy masts etc.
