The 722 Electric Battery Switch fills a need on larger boats where cable runs are becoming excessive and as a result, voltage drop is a concern. The switch is placed as close as possible to the batteries, and a short run of cable from the start batteries to the starter motor. This can be remotely switched from any convenient position in the boat utilizing a key switch, Part No. 722-KS, which is an optional extra.
